Hello again

It has been forever since I have posted anything. Busy lives. We have been watching a lot of softball with Caitlin, she made the all-stars. We just traveled to California for a tournament last week and next week we are headed to San Diego for another. We have really enjoyed this time. Caitlin has learned a lot and we've seen much improvement.

Abby turned 4 in April and Tyler just turned 11. Caitlin has a birthday next week.

I got accepted into the Masters program at UNLV, I start in September. Yeah. Two more years and then I'm finished. I'll post some updated pictures of the family.

Chloe turned one yesterday. She is such a sweet girl. We love her to pieces. She is such a good baby. We ate cake and ice cream. She was so funny she would stick her finger in the icing and lick her finger. She loved the icing more than anything else. Happy birthday, we love you Chloe Jo.

This week Caitlin got baptized. She looked so beautiful in her white dress. We are very proud of her. Caitlin is a great daughter. She is a wonderful sister and a huge helper to me with her two youger sisters. My sister Kenda and her family were able to come down from Cedar City and spend the weekend with us. We had a blast.

It been awhile since I've posted, lots of things have happened. Abby turned 3, Tyler turned 10, Caitlin turns 8 today, and Chloe had her 6 month check up and Joseph turned 33. Not to mention, I finished mt first semester of school, yeah!!
Here are some random pictures of the family.Chloe is such a good baby, I can't believe she is already 7 months old. At her 6 months check up she weight 15lbs 4 oz and was 25 inches tall. She is so much fun. We love you Chloe Jo.

Tyler turned 10 in June. He got the new transformers game and we went to see the movie at the IMAX on opening day, his birthday. We had a lot of fun. Tyler we love you.

Abby is so funny, she keeps us rolling. She thinks she is about 10 years old, I have to remind her that she is only 3. In this picture she was helping me frost Joseph cake for his 33rd birthday in June.

I just love when I can get a picture of Chloe smiling and so happy.

Life at our house

It has been very busy at our house. Tyler is playing basketball and Caitlin is playing soccer. They are both having a great time. We went up to Utah for memorial day weekend, had a family reunion. The weather was nice, just a few sprinkles of rain. The kids loved to play with their cousins and got to sleep out on the trampoline.

Sad Day

Thursday night Caitlin was getting the dogs fed and she said "Mom Bo's not here." I went outside and called his name and I got a sick feeling. He can't get out of our backyard. So I went looking in the back and he was laying by the air conditioner and he was not moving. He had passed away. We have had Bo for almost 11 years. We had him before we had kids. He was a good dog. He loved the kids and the kids loved him. Tyler had a very hard time with him dying. We will miss you boy.

Easter again

Saturday after I got home from work we dyed eggs and got ready for the bunny. It was fun, Joseph missed out he had to work that night. My niece and her family stayed over and on Sunday my mom and dad and sister Angie and some of her kids came over for dinner. It was yummy, thanks everyone. It was nice to visit and see my family.

Easter weekend

My family has a tradition of going to the Vally of Fire on the Saturday before Easter. My mom has a money egg hunt for the kids and they love it. We spend all day out there climbing on rocks and usually playing baseball with the plastic ball and bat. This year I had to work, so Joseph, my very sweet husband, took all the kids and went with out me. They had a blast!!

Here are some more updates on our house. We laid tile in the kitchen. It looks great. Thanks Carl!! This is before we totally cleaned off the tile. It is much prettier when it is clean.

Here are the paint colors that we chose for the kitchen and family room. I love the red, Joseph is not a huge fan. More pictures to come, my wood for the rest of the first floor should be here this week!!

It was our anniversary yesterday, 11 years. I can't found my camera in all the remodel mess. But I just wanted to say I love you, honey. It's been a great 11 years.
We went to dinner at Scenti at Bellagio and went to see Love at the Mirage. Fun Times.

Chloe 2 months

Our little sweetie is already 2 months. Stats- 10lbs 21.5 in long. Everything looks good. Here are some cutie pictures.This is Chloe in Abby's baby stroller. Abby put her in it and wheeled her in to me, much to my surprise. It looks like she was having fun at first then she was done.

Lately we have been in construction mess, it still is not over but we are getting closer. We added to a half wall to make an entertainment center. It is going to look great when its done. However one project leads to another, next is new flooring down stairs and of course new paint throughout. Yeah for us. On a side note I saw the doctor Tuesday and got the okay to start walking on my leg!!!!!! It still hurts a little and I walk a bit funny, but it is better than crutches.

My baby is already one month old. Time flies.

Just an update on me. Surgery went well, I see the surgeon tomorrow. We are all hanging in there. Can't wait until I can walk without crutches. Thanks for all the good wishes and help from everyone.

So not to many people know I had kinda a rough recovery. I had to come home with a foley catheter for a week yuck. Then on Friday night the 19th I was at Joseph's work picking him up and showing off Chloe and I lost my balance putting Chloe back in her chair and I fell on my right foot. It went under me and I heard pops and cracks. So off to Valley ER, low and behold I broke one the bones in my leg. Hurt really bad. I went to the Orthopedic Doctor today and he said those magic words of SURGERY. So I will be going under the knife Monday to fix my leg/ankle. Out of commission for about 10 weeks. Happy New Year to me. Joseph has been great. My mom has been spending nights and days over here helping me take care of the kids. Could not have done it without her. She is my HERO and Lifesaver. Kinda hard to take care of a newborn when your on crutches. Here are some pictures of my cool injury.

My family loves to play games. My brother-in-law Craig shared this game with us before he and my sister were married. Thanks Craig.

The Flour Game- pack flour into a small cup, turn over and place a coin on top. Take turns cutting away the flour with a butter knife until the coin falls off. The person cutting when it falls has to fish the coin our with their nose. Messing but funny.

So it's been awhile. Here is an update on the baby, I will be induced Dec 10 or 11. If I don't go into labor on my own, which I am hoping for. I am done being pregnant!!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Pictures to come. All of my brothers and sisters were here except one who lives in Kansas. We were missing 2 nephews and my brothers family. We had 36 people for Thanksgiving dinner, and most of them slept at my house. CRAZY. It was really nice to visit with everyone and laugh and remember funny times. Everyone was gone by Sunday morning. I'll post some pictures later. Happy Holidays.

So I finally got a new camera YEAH!!! So I took some pictures of the new house.
Please don't mind the messy kitchen just was grocery shopping. It's a nice kitchen with lots of cabinets.
One side of our back yard. We are on a corner lot so we have a large backyard, it's great.

Master bedroom with one master sleeping. Shhh. It's nice to have all our furinture fit and still be able to walk around. This is Caitlins room. All the rooms but one have walk in closets.

This is our upstairs bonus room with its own walk in closet. This will become the game/threater room. We love our new house, but we miss our friends and our neighborhood.

We have finally totally moved out of the out house and into the new house. Pictures to come, I had to get new camera. We love our house we feel like we have so much more space. We do. We were in a 1300 sq ft, now we are in a 3400 sq ft. The kids are having a good time at the new school. Tyler's teacher is in our ward, which by the way is HUGE. I'll keep everyone updated on baby and life. Things are going well.

Different House

So we had put a total of four offers on houses and today another one came back and it is better. The house is bigger and the lot is bigger and it is cheaper. So we are choosing that one. It is located in Iron Mountain Ranch off of Jones and Horse. Yeah.

MOVING

I am sad to report that we will be moving. We put on offer on a house last week and they accepted. I looks like we will be closing the first week of August. So we will be looking for someone to rent our house. It's 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The house should be available to rent by Sept 1st. We want to replace the carpet and get moved out and clean it really good before the renters get in. Call me if you have any questions or know someone who could be renters. We will miss the ward, but we have out grown our house. The new house is located up by Centennial High School.

Idaho Trip

We went to Idaho this past weekend. It was the Covington Family Reunion. We flew into Idaho Falls on Friday the 27th and flew back on Monday. We had a great time. All of the family up there are so nice and welcoming. The kids had a blast from riding 4 wheelers and horses to playing in the sprinklers. It was a wonderful time. My camera is broken so I have to post some pictures later.

On a side note. Everything is going great with the baby. I haven't gained any weight yet, in fact I have lost 2.5 lbs. Who knew pregnancy could be a diet. LOL. Don't worry i have weight to spare for kid.

Our weekend

We went up to Utah this weekend for my nephew's wedding. He got married on Friday in the Salt Lake Temple. It was the first time Joseph and I have been inside the Salt Lake Temple. It was beautiful. We had a family BBQ on Thursday night, it was nice to visit with all my family. Then on Saturday we went to my sisters rec center and played in the pool. The kids had a blast. It has a little kid area and Abby loved it she was totally independent. Then that night we had a wedding reception for one of my cousins. It was nice to see my aunts and uncles and other cousins. We had a blast.
On Monday we took our kids to see Indiana Jones movie. Tyler loved the movie. It was alright. Now I need another long weekend to recover.

I went to the doctor today and had an ultrasound done because my doc thought I was bigger than my dates, but everything is good still, no change in the due date, yet. Only one baby. I can't wait to be able to feel the baby move.

My kids heard me making the appointment with the doctor, and we couldn't lie to them. So they know, and I figured that it would not be too long until they told some friends and so on, so I'm just going to blog about it. We are prego. This will be the last one. I fell like crap. Lucky me. We are excited about it and the kids are excited about it. Caitilin already has asked if the baby has grown bigger. Wish me luck that the morning sickness only last a little longer. Yuck. :)

It's been a while since I have posted anything. We have been busy. March 14th was our 10th wedding anniversity. We had a great time. Joseph planned the whole thing and kept it a surprise from me. He loves to surprise me. Easter was very nice. My family goes to the Valley of Fire and has a BBQ and easter egg hunt sponsered by G-ma and G-pa White. It was very nice. My kids are looking forward to getting back to school. ME TOO!!! This was a long break. I need to be better at posting. I'll try.

This is what I found when I went to check on the kids tonight. Tyler and Caitlin had fallen asleep first and then little Abby climbed up on "Sissy" and fell asleep. They look so cute. I guess they really do love each other. Tyler had his pinewood derby tonight. Did not win but he is such a good sport, he had a really good time.

My computer died on me. Let's all have a moment of silence. I got a new computer. The last month has been crazy. The week before Christmas my father went in the hospital for "chest pain", after four days in the hospital he had a heart attack and required emergency bypass surgery, this was Friday before Christmas. All turned out okay. He is home now doing much better. Christmas was so much fun. My kids had a great time and I think Santa must have dumped his entire sleigh at my house. Joseph and I are glad school is almost starting up again. YEAH!!!! Maybe our lives can get back to some sense of normal. I am still here and still blogging.

It's a dogs life

What a life. Lay around all day in a dog bed with a blanket thanks to Tyler. Bo is the one in the bed and Kuma is behind him. We have had Bo for almost 10 years, we got Kuma about 6 years ago. Abby loves the dogs, she hugs them and crawls all over them. They are great dogs. The are great protectors. I don't think anyone will try to get in our backyard.

We had family pictures taken this last weekend. I couldn't get my scanner to work for I had to take a picture of the picture hence the blur. The orignals look really good. It's amazing to see how much the kids have grown sice own last family picture.

It's been awhile

It has been busy, holiday time. My family was down for Thanksgiving we had a really good time. I had my sister and her family and brother and his family sleeping at my house. The kids just love to play with their cousins.

Abby was so tired.We rented a bounce house and this is my brother playing bull with the kids. They all slept well that night.This is my mom with Caitlin, Abby and Libby.

So I'm sitting here thinking of interesting facts about myself and here some are:

1. I was named after an alien in a movie. That explains a lot!!

2. I have always enjoyed school, in fact I am strongly thinking of going back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Ass't. I'm not sure if my family could put up with 3 more years of school.

3. I have recently found that I am a shoe shopper. I love to wear pretty, sexy heels.

4. I Dear Johned my boyfriend while he was on his mission, (I didn't actually start the letter with "Dear John", but that was the main idea,) we had dated all thru high school. Good thing or else I would not have met Joseph;)

5. I have a nephew that is serving in Iraq and it scares me so much.

6. I hate scary movies and every Halloween my loving husband tries to get me to go to a haunted house with him and I refused, the scary people know that I am freaked out and I know they come after me on purpose. I don' t like to be scared.

Yesterday Tyler was baptized. It was so nice. We had many friends and family there. I hope it was a day that Tyler will remember forever. He was so excited. Him and Joseph look so nice all dressed in white. My little man is growing up. Tyler has such a sweet spirit, he is very helpful and caring. I am so thankful to have him as my son. I love you Tyler.

This summer we went on vacation to Universal Studios and Sea World. We had a great time. Abby really enjoyed Sea World, it was perfect for her age. We also went to the beach. It was the first time the kids had ever been in the ocean.
